Extension Options

Registered students who are not licensed after the course expiration date can extend their existing 6-month access with these options:

• Monthly extension: $85/month
• 6-month extension: $375

Timeframe for Preparation

For new U.S. graduates with an average knowledge base who are first-time takers, it typically takes about 10-12 weeks of FULL-TIME preparation to be adequately prepared.

Preparation will take longer for other students, such as those with a weaker clinical knowledge base, history of failed attempt(s), non-recent graduates, foreign graduates with no US hospital rotation experience, working students, or any combination thereof. The duration depends on the individual student's circumstances and background.

For PY3 or PY4 pharmacy students, beginning rotations with a strong clinical background offers two significant advantages:
1. The course places a strong emphasis on clinical pharmacy, exposing students to scenarios they will encounter during hospital rotations. Consequently, students perform well in any clinical setting, including rotations and board examinations.
2. Familiarity with hospital pharmacy before starting rotations can help students stand out. This familiarity greatly aids in obtaining effective letters of recommendation and securing residency positions.
